About Horsforth P.Y.O.
Our crops include tulips, strawberries,raspberries, flowers, pumpkins and Christmas trees - see our calendar below for what is available to pick and when. You do need to book to pick your own.
Come along for a fun filled visit starting with our famous tractor and trailer ride - hop on and off at the best picking spots of the day.
All the fruit is grown outdoors, exposed to the unpredictability of the Yorkshire weather, ripening in natural sunshine, and so ready for picking in its natural season, which we think adds to the flavour of the fruit. Come along and see for yourselves.
Enjoy a simple farm to table picking experience nestled among our tree lined pastures. Look out for our seasonal photo opportunities around the farm.
Once you have finished picking there is still lots to do - a play area for the children, our pigs and goats are always full of fun and great to watch/feed, relax with a snack from our small cafe and perhaps buy some of our farm beef.
If you wish only to come along to see the animals and treat yourself to a snack at the cafe you don’t need to book a ticket, but please be aware you will NOT be allowed into the PYO fields without a ticket.
We respectfully ask that you do NOT eat any fruit before paying for it, please only pick ripe fruit and you must pay for all the fruit that you pick so don’t get too carried away!

Tulips

A true spring delight. Pick your very own tulips and take some amazing photos of you among thousands of tulips.

Strawberries

Summer would not be the same without these succulent, juicy berries, the kids favourite. All our strawberries are now grown out of the ground on either our table tops or baby tops making your picking experience much more enjoyable.

Raspberries

These wonderfully tasting berries are amazing to make jam with or just enjoy drizzled with cream.

Wildflowers

Come and immerse yourself in a wide array of beautiful colours in our very own wildflower meadows. They make the perfect backdrop drops to any instagram worthy image!

Come and choose your very own ray of sunshine. We are growing over 20,000 stems this year so there will be plenty for everyone to choose from!

Pumpkins

Whether you are looking for the perfect Halloween lantern, a selection for your Halloween display or the tastiest one to make into a delicious pumpkin pie, we grow almost 100,000 pumpkins every year, so plenty to choose from. With loads of photo opportunities around the farm and more added every year.

Christmas Trees

Available: late November to December
No booking required for Christmas trees, just simply show up during our opening hours. All our trees are locally grown and displayed on hard standing and in our shed, so you don’t have to go into a muddy field to choose yours! With up to 100 trees on display at any one time you will surely find your perfect tree.
